“Do not store up for yourselves [material] treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in and steal; 21 for where your treasure is, there your heart [your wishes, your desires; that on which your life centers] will be also. Matthew 6:19-21 Amplified
That means , in Eternity, there is no decomposition, because rust cannot destroy.
All things are make new.
Jesus also refer the Kingdom of God, like a man searching for treasure, and a costly pearl in Matthew 13:44-46
“The kingdom of heaven is like a [very precious] treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid again; then in his joy he goes and sells all he has and buys that field [securing the treasure for himself].
45 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant in search of fine pearls, 46 and upon finding a single pearl of great value, he went and sold all that he had and bought it.
Is, God, the most precious pursuit of our lives ? Is His Presence , precious to you and me?
