Recently, we were caught in Typhoon number fifteen at Tokyo,
Typhoon Faxai made landfall in Tokyo at 3 am on Monday 9th September 2019
The next morning, fallen trees and electricity shutdown had caused suspension to several train lines, 900,000 households were without electricity, fallens trees had blocked roads, 2 ships had collided off the Bay of Tokyo.
We had an uneventful and memorable time getting to 40 Km of Narita International so as to take a flight to Singapore on Wednesday 11th
In the midst of the storm, I was reminded of this Scripture;
Then he was told, “Go, stand on the mountain at attention before God. God will pass by.”
A hurricane wind ripped through the mountains and shattered the rocks before God, but God wasn’t to be found in the wind; after the wind an earthquake, but God wasn’t in the earthquake; and after the earthquake fire, but God wasn’t in the fire; and after the fire a gentle and quiet whisper.
