In The New Covenant , The Enemy, is also described as a lion, I can imagine, in our confusion and desperation , he roars really loudly, as we struggled to hear the still small voice.
Very often, I have to mentally, emotionally and spiritually push him out of my head and mind, the battlefield is really in the mind , that is why we need to put on the helmet of salvation. It is part of our spiritual garment and head protection , literally and spiritually.
Stand firm, on the Word of God, on His Promises, are yes and amen, Stand firm on His Love, it is a Rock, unchanging, through the ages, He is the same yesterday, today and forever.
Then one of the [twenty-four] elders said to me, “Stop weeping! Look closely, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome and conquered! He can open the scroll and [break] its seven seals.”

Jesus is the real Lion ! From the tribe of Judah, He is Majesty. He has overcome the world ! Fret not, worry lesser !
