This morning, as I was walking home after sending Eloise to elementary School.
I chanced upon a beautiful but dead bird.
I think it was a local white throat Kingfisher.
Even in its death, there was still beautiful feathers to observe,
Then I remember a Scripture from Matthew 10:28-31 TPT
Don’t be in fear of those who can kill only the body but not your soul. Fear only God, who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
You can buy two sparrows for only a copper coin, yet not even one sparrow falls from its nest without the knowledge of your Father. Aren’t you worth much more to God than many sparrows?
So don’t worry. For your Father cares deeply about even the smallest detail of your life.
Some of us, many of us, me included, are living with some draconian measures rolled out in the midst of COVID-19 tyranny and hypocrisy on Singapore, even insanity like in Australia.
Perhaps, maybe this is a time, where we learn, me included, to put our trust in God and that His word never fails.
Over the next few days, I would attempt to post, actually, copy and paste, Scriptures to buoyed our faith, if it had been sinking, we are humans after all.
May you find solace and comfort and hope in God’s word.
