The Lamb over me, His banner over me.

Since it is the Chinese Lunar New Year, which also coincides with the story in Exodus 12 , I shall do a short post, (Pardon my C-6- D-7 CL.2! )

This Chinese character is made up of the following;

This is so amazing, because it depicts a Lamb, a sacrificial One, without spot or blemish, that was offered up on a wooden cross, with outstretched hands and a pierced side by a weapon.

It depicts The Finished Work of Jesus Christ On The Cross!

As it is written;

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!¹⁸ All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: ¹⁹ that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. ²⁰ We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. ²¹ God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

2 Corinthians 5:17-21 

Thank you Jesus for all that You had done for us, for you and for me. That we might be reconciled back to God, not based on any of our own works, but only by the finished work on the cross.
