And He said, Go out and stand on the mount before the Lord. And behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains and broke in pieces the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind; and after the wind an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake;

I like the fact the God did not try to speak to Elijah when there was chaos around.
I like the fact that it was an audible voice, a gentle still, small voice.
It would be unmistakable.
It would be so clear.
It would make a lasting impression.
May we, may I , learn to hear the gentle, still, small voice of God in the midst of our chaos .
