Manger

And she gave birth to her Son, her Firstborn; and she wrapped Him in swaddling clothes and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room or place for them in the inn.

Luke 2:7 AMPC

A manger was a feeding trough for the sheep, the cows. Maybe for the chickens too

There was no other inn around.

His fate was already cast in stone

Just as it was used for feeding the common domesticated animals

His life was to be His living bread for us all.

To feed us all.

I [Myself] am this Living Bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this Bread, he will live forever; and also the Bread that I shall give for the life of the world is My flesh (body).
