Worms

At my School at Bukit Timah,  I actually have to feed worms,

It is an activity for children , known as composting, we cut up vegetables and fruits leftovers, and literally feed it to the worms, which were apparently imported from New Zealand.

A group of students actually thought that if I opened the box, they were going to see a Kiwi-Bird, no kidding .

I noticed that the worms lies to burrow in the dark, moist recesses of the soil, they come to the surface to feed and well, poo.

“Worms eat you when you’re dead; worries eat you when you’re alive. ” – Jewish Proverb

When I dig those creatures out of the soil and exposed them to air and sunlight, they literally squirmed away.

Same in the natural, same in the supernatural.

And the one on whom seed was sown on the good soil, this is the one who hears the word and understands and grasps it; he indeed bears fruit and yields, some a hundred times [as much as was sown], some sixty [times as much], and some thirty.”

Matthew 13:23 Amplified

In the parable of the sower , soil is used to described the condition of the human heart.

While thorns symbolized the cares of this world, strangling us from the outside.

Worms are usually inside the soil, may I suggest to you, they represent our worries and troubling thoughts.

If we allow natural sunlight to penetrate, those worms don’t stand a chance of surviving.

What more, when we expose our worries to The Light of the world ?

I would like to think, they would be melted away.

I hope you are bless,
