Japan

I see a matcha green tea brush

He is bringing a churning, a turning, a pouring, to calm and to provide smoothing.

Like the art form of Japanese Tea, God is bringing the Gospel in in steps.

Times of refreshing (Acts 3:19) for the weariness

I see bundles of sheath of rice.

24 Yes, indeed! I tell you that unless a grain of wheat that falls to the ground dies, it stays just a grain; but if it dies, it produces a big harvest. 25 He who loves his life loses it, but he who hates his life in this world will keep it safe right on into eternal life! 26 If someone is serving me, let him follow me; wherever I am, my servant will be there too. My Father will honor anyone who serves me.

John 12:24-26 CJB

Regarding the fall of Shinzo Abe,

May his fall bring up more righteous leaders and politicians.

Japan is portrayed as a rice field with bundles of sheath.

Japan is ripe for harvest.

Send forth the laborers.

So that she can be a blessing and feed the nations.

Japan shall be saved.

Jesus had taken our pain & sufferings

Today, I was driving inside my little car, and I was thinking about my wife,

She is currently in the third trimester, 37th week, and within 18 days or so, our baby would be born, and she was having shortness of breath and back pains.

I was thinking to myself, I can take on all of her pains, if there is a way to transfer it to me.

Then it strucked me that Jesus, also did the same thing for all of us at the cross.

He took all our pains and sufferings, He recognised that if He did not go to the cross, there would be no redemption for all of humankind. He submitted to God’s will.

If not, sin cannot go unpunish and we would be languishing in Hell for all of eternity…

This verse from Hebrews 12:2 came alive to me,

looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

It speaks of the redemption and salvation we have in Jesus, and the righteousness we have by believing in Him and His finished work on the cross and underneath Hades & Death during those three days. (Psalm 22, 88, Isaiah 53)

How can we ever thank and praise you enough? For all that you had done for us?

I hope you are bless

God chose to forgive Hezekiah, He also chose to forgive us!

This is a story of how God is able to deliver, healed and saved a man.

Hezekiah  was a king whose heart was lifted up, not humble, even after God miraculously  healed him of his sickness. ( 2 Chronicles 32:24-31)

Hezekiah had a very great riches and honor. And God tested him.

God withdrew from him, in order to test him, that He might know all that was in his heart. 2 Chronicles 32:31

As Hezekiah wrote in Isaiah 38, he was also prophetically foretelling  of the coming Messiah .

Indeed it was for my own peace
That I had great bitterness;
But You have lovingly delivered my soul from the pit of corruption,
For You have cast all my sins behind Your back.
18 For Sheol cannot thank You,
Death cannot praise You;
Those who go down to the pit cannot hope for Your truth. Isaiah 38:17-18

Furthermore, he added,

“The Lord was ready to save me;
Therefore we will sing my songs with stringed instruments
All the days of our life, in the house of the Lord.” Isaiah 38:20

The Lord is ready and mighty to save!

His hand is not shortened that it cannot save ! ( Isaiah 59:1)

As far as the east is from the west,
So far has He removed our transgressions from us. (Psalm 103:12 )

Our transgressions are removed, cast into the sea, forgotten.

God choose not to remember, God choose to forgive us.

And His same invitation of mercy is extended to you.

Are you ready to receive it?

Jesus came, and lived, and taught, and died on the gruesome cross for each and all of us.

He earnestly desires that all man and woman to come to repentance & reconciliation to Father God, thru His one and only atoning work on the cross.

Your gift of salvation is available to you, today, right now.

that whoever believein Him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3:15

And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believein Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.” John 6:40

that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9

Believe in Jesus, today

Sat 14th April 2012

His nails wounds, are still there.

There is a moving passage in the gospels, where Jesus appears to His disciples

Now as they said these things, Jesus Himself stood in the midst of them, and said to them, “Peace to you.”37 But they were terrified and frightened, and supposed they had seen a spirit. 38 And He said to them, “Why are you troubled? And why do doubts arise in your hearts? 39 Behold My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself. Handle Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I have.”

40 When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His feet.[f] 41 But while they still did not believe for joy, and marveled, He said to them, “Have you any food here?” 42 So they gave Him a piece of a broiled fish and some honeycomb.[g] 43 And He took it and ate in their presence.  Luke 24:36-43

Think of this,

The only wounds that God didn’t  heal on Jesus were the cruel nails punctures.

There are several reasons why Jesus have to die on the cross for us. We shall just briefly go to 4 broad theme now.

1. Jesus had to suffer the penalty for all our wrongdoings against the moral character of God, and He was severely injured for our sins.

He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities; (Isaiah 53:5)

Jesus was our sacrificial lamb, the sin offering on the cross.

2.  Jesus died to give us the peace from God

The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, (Isaiah 53:5)

“Father, Forgive them, for they do not know what they do”, not just for the soldiers, tormentors, Pharisees, but for all of us. (Luke 23:34)

3. Jesus died to offer us healing for our bodies into eternity.

And by His stripes we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5)

We will have a whole new body.

4. Jesus died with shame, nothing & isolation, so that we would not be ashamed to face God & to be able to re-connect back to God.

What a wonderful savior we have?

Isaiah 53:4-6

Surely He has borne our griefs
And carried our sorrows;
Yet we esteemed Him stricken,
Smitten by God, and afflicted.
But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed.
All we like sheep have gone astray;
We have turned, every one, to his own way;
And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

Jesus didn’t waited for us to be ready. Romans 5:8

Romans 5:8 NKJV

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

God openly demonstrates His love for us,

That when we were still sinners, not when we are perfect, or repenting, or even aware of Him.

Jesus Christ died for us.

Because, without the shedding of blood, there can be no remission of sins.
That was His love for humanity and for our salvation,

(Refer to Hebrews 9)

Hope you are bless.

This is our savior. Hebrews 12:2

this is something which came to my mind on 18th Thursday 2011.

Hebrews 12:2-3 Message

Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we’re in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—he could put up with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever. And now he’s there, in the place of honor, right alongside God. When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item, that long litany of hostility he plowed through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls!

Hebrews 12:2 NKJV, it reads,

looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

This is our savior!

He endured the painful and excruciating cross.

He had a vision of joy, in the midst of His untold sufferings!

He was led as a lamb to the slaughter. Isaiah 53:7

His face was set like a flint.

This is our wonderful savior.

Who for the joy of seeing us healed, went to the cross.

Who for the joy of setting our souls and spirits free from the captivity of satan and his demonic forces, went to the cross.

Who for the joy of seeing us in the Kingdom of God, went to the cross.

This is our savior.

What else can we say, how complete He had made our salvation, available and possible.

To all who believe.

hope you are bless
